We had a great trip to Seattle...saw lots of things, drove all around the city, and even made a trip into Victoria, B.C., Canada for the day. It was a busy trip, but well worth it. I can't believe I go back to work next week. This summer really flew by!

Our fairwell dinner with cousins (Ryan/Hayden and Tony/Sandy)"
#1: We were talking about who are boys and who are girl. Here is how the conversation went: Kim: Is our dog Mickey a boy or girl? Maddie: He is a boy! K: Is daddy a boy or girl? M: Daddy is a boy! K: Is mommy a girl or a boy? M: Mommy is a girl/boy, ha ha ha no mommy is a girl. K: Are you a girl or a boy Madison? M: I am a LADY!
#2Driving down the street when we see a gardener's truck. Madison: Look mom there is a lawn molar. Those are for daddy's!
P.S. She is right, I tried to mow the lawn once and it was a nightmare.
#3 Shopping with my mom in the shoe department: Madison found a whole bunch of shoes for my mom to put on... Madison: Nonie these are cute, try these on. No, Nonie, those are not cute, no those are too smalll. So finally my mom finds some shoes she wants to buy... Madison: Nonie, don't buy those they are not cute and they don't fit. You have black shoes.
#4 In the candy aisle, she found the mini M&M tubes. Madison: Mom we have these at home. Kim: What are they? Madison: M&M's mom Kim: What is in there? Madison: (shaking the tube with a smile) It's sugar in there!
My parents are celebrating their 35th wedding anniversay this month and after months of planning, my sister and I threw them a great party this past weekend. They were totally surprised and we all had a blast. It was stressful to say the least, but in the end totally worth it! We had about 40 people, a live jazz band, great food, a delicious cake and even dancing!
