I've changed my name plus new photos

Madison hasn't been this whiney in a really long time, so tonight I have changed my name. I am no longer "mommy" I will not repsond to it, answer it or even own it! :)
Thank goodness she is asleep now. She was watching her "5 minutes" of a movie that she loves right before bed time and actually feel sound asleep, that hasn't happened before. Hopefully a good night's rest will solve this problem and I can change my name back tomorrow. hee hee

Our sister-in-law Kelly had several friends give her Barbie power wheels, so we inherited one recently. It was quite faded and needed a new battery, but Madison was thrilled. When we got the new battery charged she was ready to role, but Scott and his OCD couldn't let her play with a faded toy. So he has repainted it to a more neutral toy...in case we have a boy one day, he too can play with the power wheels. Here are a couple of photos of the restored car:

Sidestory:
So as she was learning how to "drive" her new car, she actually ran into Scott's back bumper of his real car. She looked at me with true fear in her eyes and said (using her little hands to emphasis) "Please mommy, don't tell Scott! Don't tell Scott!!"
Little stinker has her first "car accident" and already knows which parent not to tell! :)

I am finally getting around to posting Easter photos and new ultrasound photos...I have been such a slacker lately! We have had a hot spell and it was a little taste of how I will feel this summer. YIKES is all I can say!

Same 'ole Same 'ole

Nothing new to report...I had another ultra sound last week and it was wonderful We got to see baby #2 again and the lady switched on the 3-D portion of the machine and we got to see the face...looks soooooooo much like Madison it is crazy! The same forehead, the same nose, the same checks, the same mouth...it was amazing! Other than that, I am huge...sorry no pictures! :) And, I am reaching the count down from 100. It is crazy to think I have only 38 more teaching days and then I will have about 5 months off. First summer break, then maternity leave. It will be here before we know it! YIKES! :)

Future Career

Tonight in the bathtub Madison was playing while Scott was fixing the towel racks. He had to run to the garage to get something, so I went up to keep an eye on her. She had two different cups filling them with water. Then she proceeded to fit the small one onto the big one and started shaking them... she seemed to know what she was doing. Mixing drinks perhaps? She was so content shaking her concoction and then pouring it into a third cup. I swear we are NOT big drinkers in our house! :)

Easter photos and such

I tried to take some photos of Maddie today, since we never made it in the studio for Easter photos...these are my favorite...also if you click on my sister-in-law's blog-I can't get the link button to work, (she is Kelly under my favorites on the right side), you can see some other photos of the girls eating their icecream/photo shoot from this weekend!

Church

Each morning on the way to work I pass this church. They have a sign out front that changes periodically. Most of the time it lists events and holidays that are coming up. Every so often it has a "catch" phrase or quote that catches my eye. Today when I drove by I noticed it had changed. It made me laugh out loud.

This is what it said:

"Don't worry about it, come join us, Moses started out as a basket case, too!"
