The day before Halloween we were able to get together with my friend Lisa and her family for a little pre-Halloween trick-or-treating and pumpkin carving. Although the mommies and the kids started the carving, the daddies took over and finished up the task of making the pumpkins turn into jack-o-lanterns! :)

Coyote of the Month
October was an exciting month for Madison...not only is it her birthday and halloween, she was selected for Coyote of the month at her school. It was so wonderful to be able to see her receive her award and hear all the fabulous things her teacher had to say about her. She has perfect attendance, does her homework plus extra, is responsible, respectful, meeting all the standards and is an all-around great kid!!

Pumpkin Patch
I love this time of year...the still warmish weather (although lately it has been down right HOT), the colors of fall, the pumpkin patch trips and enjoying be outdoors. Soooooo we headed out to a local pumpkin patch with a hayride, train, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, etc... Madison has enjoyed this place for the last several years and although Mackenzie went last year, she didn't really partake in the festivities...but this year you couldn't stop that girl! She ran and kept up just fine with her big sister!
