Laughter Lives Tuesday

So here goes:

Yesterday was a day off for work for me and daycare was closed for Madison. So we had a lazy morning and really nothing to do all day. I thought we could just browse through Target (my favorite store) and then get some groceries. As we were driving there, Madison noticed a park along the way. This is how the conversation went:

"Mommy, did you see that park?"

"Yes, we have played there before."

"Well, I have an idea!"

"OK, what is your idea?"

"We need to go to Starbucks."

"But we already had breakfast."

"No we won't get breakfast, you can get a coffee and you can buy me a chocolate milk and one of the little 'scomes' (scones). Then we can drive back to the park and you can hold my chocolate milk and my scome, while I play on the swings, so if I need a drink, you can have it ready for me!"

"Well, I don't think we can do that today, we are going to the grocery store and Target."

"No, mom we can do it today, just make the car drive to Starbucks first!"
