Easter Photos...

Well sort of...I tried last weekend when my mom was in town to do Easter photos myself. Last year I did some of Madison that turned out really cute, I was happy with them and thought what the heck let's do it again this year....well add another child, hungry bellies, and unhappy kiddos... and that is what I had! Let's just say it was CRAZY!!!

Happy Heart Day

Last weekend we ventured out and had some Valentine photos done of the girls. They turned out adorable if I do say so myself!

Impromptu photos

We went to the mall today and got the girls first "official" photos taken. It was easy (honestly)! Madison was a great big sister and Mackenzie did great too! I was amazed...we even had one framed it turned out so cute. These are just copies, so they look a little fuzzy.

p.s. Don't worry Kelly we had some made for you :)

Fairytale Town

My sister-in-law had a meeting in Sacramento this week and I offered to watch Jenna for the day so she and Madison could have a playdate. They don't get to see each other that often and it is usually during,j a large family event, so I thought a little one on one time together would be good for them. Let's just say a normal meeting includes: tears, yelling, pushing and arguing...just normal 3 and 4 year old behavior, but they always have loads of fun.

So we met Kelly and got little Miss Jenna situated in the car and we headed to fairytale town. The girls were PERFECT!!! I can't even tell you how they acted. They took turns, watched out for each other, held hands, posed for pictures together, listened and played like never before!! I was so proud of both of them. When it was time to go, they both went willingly, played in the car the whole way home, then watched a little TV to "rest" (yah right), then we went out to play in the little pool, followed by a marathon bath and finally we went to meet back with Kelly for dinner.

I know the girls had a wonderful time when they both passed out in the car...actually Jenna passed out in the car on the way to dinner.

These girls are going to be best friends for life!!

Dance Recital

Madison performed in her first dance recital last week! She did amazing. She danced the whole time and smiled and had so much fun dressing up and getting to wear makeup! Here she is after the show!

Father's Day Fun

Yesterday Scott took Maddie to the real golf course for the first time. Santa brought her a set of real golf clubs that she had yet to use. The set has a little pink bag, visor, set of balls, tees, a wood, an iron and a putter (all with graphite shafts-I guess that is a big deal). So off we went to practing chipping! She had a blast! She did really well with the putting and hitting off of a tee, she still needs to work on chipping with her iron. Now she says that her and daddy need a golf date...so that is where they are right now...at the golf course. The handy photographer didn't get to go this time, so here are some photos from last night!

Reminiscing

I don't think that nesting has really set in, but I do feel like I am starting to "think" about getting things in order. I started by finishing Madison's baby book up to the present, starting the new baby's book, posted furniture to get rid of on craigslist, and organizing all 1 million photos taken since Madison was born!

I am finally getting around to posting Easter photos and new ultrasound photos...I have been such a slacker lately! We have had a hot spell and it was a little taste of how I will feel this summer. YIKES is all I can say!
